How we vet
every agent.

Nigerian real estate has a trust problem. Our answer is a six-stage vetting workflow that every agent goes through before they touch a client.

  1. 01

    Application

    Agents submit legal name, NIN, address, photo of valid ID, and a short profile. Email + phone are OTP-verified at submission.

  2. 02

    Automated KYC

    Smile Identity validates the NIN against the National Identity Database and runs sanctions / PEP checks. Failed checks are auto-rejected.

  3. 03

    Face match & liveness

    A short selfie video confirms the applicant is the NIN holder and is alive — no static photos, no spoofs.

  4. 04

    Manual review

    A human moderator audits the application, looks at portfolio and references, then approves or requests more information.

  5. 05

    90-day probation

    Approved agents get a probation badge for their first 90 days. They can list and match, but every transaction is reviewed.

    Continuous QC

    Beyond probation, agents are scored on responsiveness, client reviews, and dispute volume. Falling below the bar pulls the badge.
